The Ecology & Behaviour
● House Dust Mites, Flour Mites and Fur Mites are collectively known as "Indoor dust-related mites". Around 70-90% of Indoor dust-related mites belong to House Dust Mites
● House dust mites prefer warm, humid environments (at approx. 20-30℃ with 60-
80% humidity)
● House Dust Mites feed on organic detritus such as flakes of shed human skin and dirt. 1 gram of dandruff, dust or human sweat can serve as nutriment to 300 house dust mites
● House Dust Mites are active all year-round. It mostly inhabits in carpets and furniture
● The bodies, excrement and corpse of House Dust Mites can cause allergy
